Services Implementation Engineer - Healthcare
Position Description
McKesson Health Solutions is seeking a proven Services Implementation Engineer who will be responsible for implementing the Advanced Diagnostic Management (ADM) solution for new customers. The Services Implementation Engineer will work for a new, growing business within McKesson that serves providers, health plans, and labs in the life sciences and diagnostics space, providing a leading edge healthcare content and technology solution.
The position requires demonstrated success working directly with customers implementing new SaaS products, achieving high customer satisfaction and efficient delivery of the solution. The ideal candidate has a balance of customer facing skills and technical acumen. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to play a key role in a highly visible, innovative new business at one of the world¿s premier healthcare services organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own a set of customer facing technical implementations for ADM
Support existing customer implementations as customer issues are reported
Secondary Responsibilities:
Build documentation, processes and tools for services to ease implementation
Provide feedback to product management around improvements for customer-facing capabilities as well as technology for services improvements
Scope out implementation costs for ADM prospects

Requirements |
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of deploying technology solutions required.
(2+) years in health care information technology or services required
Previous experience with Internet based software applications required
Clinical diagnostic lab market experience or Health Insurance plan experience preferred
Experience working strategically and tactically on a high performance team with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Technical experience with: XML, SQL, TCP/IP, FTP, Web SaaS architecture
Strong skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Technical experience with XSLT, Oracle DB, EDI, HL7, X12 a plus.
Team player who can work intelligently and effectively, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Desire to work in a fast paced startup environment is a must
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required
Ability to work effectively with a virtual team spread geographically and across departments is required
Education
Education/Training
4 year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical implementation experience

Consistent customer related travel, up to 33%
