Sodexo Facility Solutions division has partnered with The Mount Sinai Medical Center to provide management of their Engineering, Plant Operations, and Construction Departments. The Mount Sinai Medical Center is an academic medical institution in Manhattan that provides multiple specialty services to the surrounding area. As a function of this new partnership, Sodexo is seeking management positions at varying levels of responsibility. Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager to over see the shop trades within the Facilities ? Engineering Department at a large tertiary care hospital ? 1100 beds with multiple campuses. The Operations Manager 2 Fac/Eng Trades will oversee the specific trades that solve the intermediate to advanced maintenance issues within the Mount Sinai enterprise. Daily operations include customer service, staff development, regulatory compliance (TJC, NFPA, etc.), corrective maintenance of systems and equipment. The Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in managing a maintenance department in a healthcare organization along with the technical knowledge of general trades, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ability to read and understand blueprints. An Associates degree or higher preferred.

Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
