Sodexo Facility Solutions division has partnered with The Mount Sinai Medical Center to provide management of their Engineering, Plant Operations, and Construction Departments. The Mount Sinai Medical Center is an academic medical institution in Manhattan that provides multiple specialty services to the surrounding area. As a function of this new partnership, Sodexo is seeking management positions at varying levels of responsibility. Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager to serve as the Lead Project Manager for the construction/renovations department within the Facilities ? Engineering Division at this large tertiary care hospital ? 1100 beds with multiple campuses. The Operations Manager 2 Fac/Eng ? Lead Project Manager will oversee the project managers who are hands on with the review of schedules, budget, communications, and regulatory building code compliance. This position will report to the Director of Engineering ? Construction. Daily operations include customer service, staff development, regulatory compliance (TJC, NFPA, IBC, AIA etc.). The Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a lead project manager role within a hospital setting, who has the knowledge of building codes, project management software and the ability to clearly communicate to staff and customers. An Associates degree or higher is preferred.
